Mondido provides payment solutions for e-commerce, specializing in integrating local payment methods across the Nordic region. Their primary customers are retailers in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industries who use Shopify’s e-commerce platform.

When Jonah Olsson became CEO in 2023, he quickly recognized that Mondido’s communication strategy needed a new direction to resonate with its key audience.
– Mondido is fundamentally a tech company and has historically presented itself in a very technical way, says Jonah Olsson. However, our customers are primarily in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. To connect with them, we needed to update both our visual expression and tone of voice. On top of that, our website was difficult to navigate and overloaded with content.

Solution

After meeting Klingit at a trade show and evaluating various options, Jonah Olsson decided to collaborate with Klingit to redefine Mondido’s brand and create a new, user-friendly website.
– We explored several agencies, ranging from one-person firms to larger players. We chose Klingit because of their transparency about expectations and potential pitfalls, as well as their approach to project planning and pricing, which made the process smooth and cost-effective.

Jonah Olsson emphasizes that Klingit played a key role in challenging Mondido’s team and steering the process toward a sharper outcome.
– We received great support from Klingit’s team, who really helped us dig deep into understanding who we are and what we offer our customers. That made all the difference in the final result.

Result

With a completely new visual identity and an intuitive website in place, Mondido now feels that its brand aligns with the message it wants to convey to customers. The transformation has also strengthened internal team pride, giving Mondido’s staff renewed energy and confidence to pursue their ambitious growth goals for the future.
