“Klingit is a fantastic solution for a SaaS scale-up”

Background

LeadDesk is a Finnish SaaS company that develops software for customer service and outbound sales. Its tools help front desk teams streamline their outreach and communication with clients and leads. Founded in 2010, the company now operates in 13 markets with over 20,000 agents using its platform and more than 240 employees working toward international growth.

Matti Vaininen is the Head of Marketing of Finnish SaaS scale-up LeadDesk. He leads brand, communication and marketing efforts across all entities of the company in close collaboration with LeadDesk’s product, customer success and sales teams. He structures his team’s work to support clarity and responsiveness. While the company runs on a quarterly cycle, his team also needs to stay agile to meet shifting demands.
– We plan regularly, have weekly team meetings, and have one-to-one meetings with each team member. We draw key learnings and iterate continuously as we build.

Solution

Before Klingit, LeadDesk worked with a traditional agency but struggled to keep up with production needs. When Matti came across Klingit on social media, he was intrigued by the flexible model and decided to try it out at the start of 2024.
– Our biggest challenge was executing fast enough. We wanted to publish more, especially sales content, but lacked the production muscle to keep up.

Today, the team relies on Klingit to create assets such as presentation templates, sales decks, and branded materials.
– It has been so smooth that I barely need to be involved. I used to spend a lot of time on creative reviews and adjustments. Now I just hand it over to our designer and Klingit.

Matti Vaininen has also appreciated the digital ways of working that come with Klingit.
– The structure and turnaround times are great. It’s faster to get a manual design from Klingit than it is to write an AI prompt ourselves.

The flexibility of the setup with Klingit and the fact that hours can be transferred from one month to the next if they are not fully used up at the end of the month is also an important feature for the LeadDesk team.
– The flexibility that comes from the rollover model is reassuring. Needs vary, and the ability to carry over unused hours helps us stay efficient when plans change.

Result

With Klingit, LeadDesk has accelerated creative production and reduced bottlenecks.
– We’ve been able to complete entire content cycles that would otherwise have been postponed. That lets us take on more projects and keep up with brand and comms priorities.

The collaboration also supports long-term development.
– We’re currently working to improve our processes so we can expand our collaboration with Klingit. There’s more we could do together, and we’re building the internal conditions to support that.
