Background

Cabonline is one of the leading mobility providers in the Nordics, with over 3,700 cars across 175 locations in Sweden, Finland, and Norway. Historically, each local brand communicated independently—making it difficult for Cabonline as a whole to claim the position it deserves.
– Very few people knew us as Cabonline, says Jessica Almberger, Marketing Manager at Cabonline. The local brands were in focus, and without a shared umbrella, it created both inefficiencies and internal competition.

As Cabonline began to centralize, the need to update the brand also grew. A professional visual identity was missing. The ambition was to reflect who Cabonline truly is and to stand out from the industry’s traditional yellow and black color schemes. Fundamental building blocks needed to be created from scratch: templates for presentations, social media campaigns, and much more.
– Before we started working with Klingit, there was essentially nothing at the group level—most things were handled by the local brands. We needed to take a clear position. Everything had to be created from scratch, at a high pace, without compromising on quality.

Solution

Cabonline began collaborating with Klingit to develop a new visual identity, while also establishing an efficient workflow for ongoing marketing production.

Based on the strongest elements of Cabonline’s existing brand portfolio, Klingit and Cabonline developed a new visual identity with an updated logo and templates for everything from Word documents to sales presentations. With Klingit’s credit model, Jessica was able to adjust resources month by month—from social media and video production to event materials.
– This is a comprehensive journey, and it becomes incredibly important to have a partner you can trust who is flexible and fast. Priorities shift, needs change, and there have never been any issues in the collaboration with Klingit.

The result is a unified and modern brand that reflects Cabonline’s position as a leading Nordic mobility company.
– Now we have a visual identity that truly reflects who we are and what we stand for—it’s something to be proud of and something that stands out in a traditional industry.

The new identity has been well received internally and has laid a strong foundation for continued production and development.
– Going forward, it’s about bringing the brand to life across more channels and scaling production. I’m really looking forward to the next step and continuing the close collaboration with Klingit.
